ADA welcomes our first individual member

ADA warmly welcomes a very familiar industry face as our first individual member since the introduction of our new category of membership at the start of the year. Phil Winrow has been a stalwart supporter of all things related to drainage, water level and flood risk management and his expertise in flood risk finance coupled with his farming roots and long-standing role with the Environment Agency make him a leader in his field.

With the centralisation of services, Phil is now part of the larger Defra family covering and advising on all aspects of flood risk finance across the various agencies. Phil is keen to continue his connections with ADA.

Innes Thomson, ADA’s Chief Executive, in welcoming him, commented: “It is hugely appropriate that Phil becomes our first individual member. His strength of support to ADA, his pragmatism and, of course, his sheer depth of knowledge on all matters of flood financing have significantly contributed to ADA’s members being in a much better place and I am delighted that Phil continues to take an active interest in ADA’s affairs.”
