Senior Technician

Organisation: Bedford Group of IDBs

The Bedford Group of Drainage Boards manage water levels and flood risk in the Upper River Great Ouse catchment, through north Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire to Huntingdon.

Role: You will need to be suitably qualified with knowledge of land drainage and flood risk management. It would be an advantage to have experience of consenting, GIS and Sustainable Drainage Systems

Salary: Competitive

Land Drainage Operatives x 3

Organisation: Bedford Group of IDBs

The Bedford Group of Drainage Boards manage water levels and flood risk in the Upper River Great Ouse catchment, through north Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire to Huntingdon.

Role: Three roles are available: one specialising in watercourse maintenance and 2 new posts specialising in Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) inspections and maintenance. We need suitably experienced operatives with knowledge of land drainage and flood risk management.

Drainage Engineer

Organisation: Mid Sussex District Council

Role: Temporary role for 12 months. Working as a member of our Corporate Estates and Facilities team, you will be part of the Drainage Team and responsible for assessing the drainage aspects of planning applications. You will help manage increasing Planning Consultation work. You will be required to carry out site visits, condition surveys and the procurement and supervision of works to improve the Council’s drainage assets.

Salary: £24,964 pa – £26,822 pa + Car allowance up to £1,239 pa pro rata. Applicants who wish to work part time on flexible working patterns are encouraged to apply
