The Anglian Northern Regional Flood and Coastal Committee are currently recruiting for 2 new Environment Agency Appointed Members. Whilst we are filling roles for general members, we are particularly interested in the following knowledge areas:
Applicants do not need to be technical experts in flood and coastal risk management, though some understanding of the processes and impacts of flooding are desirable. More importantly, we need people who can think strategically, know how to engage and influence individuals, communities and networks, and understand the need for innovation and efficiency. Organisation: Ouse and Humber Drainage Board
Role: As the Boards Data Management Officer, under the direction of the Corporate Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for updating ratepayers’ information, preparing annual rate demands and managing the Boards GIS-based asset management systems, with the potential to assist in implementing technological improvements in the field.
Location: The post is based at the Boards office at 91 Bridgegate, Howden, Goole, DN14 7JJ
Salary: The role comes with a competitive salary (within a rising salary band) ranging from £14,952 to £20,844 (subject to experience and qualifications) along with enrolment into the very attractive – Local Government Pension Scheme.
