Flood & Coast 2020

Flood & Coast 2020

The Flood & Coast event unites people from across flood and coastal erosion risk, resilience, response and recovery, to discuss how we will work together to rise to challenge of climate change. The uncomfortable truth is that flooding and flood damage is going to get profoundly worse in today’s changing climate. So this year’s programme will have an increased focus on climate change and link into the aspirations of the United Nations Climate Change Conference UK 2020 (COP26) in November.

Flood & Coast 2020 Themes

  1. A nation ready for climate change
  2. Delivering together
  3. Future skills, knowledge and tools
  4. Creating green and sustainable places
