ADA announces 82nd Conference & AGM 2019

The ADA Conference and Annual General Meeting is an essential event for anyone interested in the role of flood and water level management authorities in the UK. The 2019 event is set to offer a showpiece line-up of leading political and industry speakers, informing our members of ADA’s activities, and enabling delegates to discuss topical flood and water level management issues.

Neil Parish MP for Tiverton & Honiton, and Chair of the House of Commons Environment, Food & Rural Affairs Committee will be our opening speaker at this year’s event on Wednesday 13 November 2019 at One Great George Street, Westminster. Given recent flood events and the Committee’s current inquiry into climate change adaptation and coastal flooding we look forward to hearing Neil’s thoughts.

Neil will be joined by two further keynote presentation from Stuart Roberts, Vice President of the NFU, and Julie Foley, Director of Flood Risk Strategy & National Adaptation at the Environment Agency. Both will be addressing the need to build positive collaborations across water management.

Given the support we received from members at our 2018 event we are delighted to be able to hold our prices the same this year. Delegate places are £125+VAT per person for ADA members and £187.50+VAT for non-members. Places can be booked online at www.ada.org.uk/ada-conference

ADA’s Associate Members, who supply services and equipment to the flood and water management sector, can now reserve a small exhibition stand at the event free of charge on a first-come-first-served basis. These stands are always very popular, please contact admin@ada.org.uk for more information, including sponsorship opportunities.
