ADA publishes updated Business Plan

ADA publishes updated Business Plan

ADA’s Board of Directors has signed off the latest three year ADA Business Plan (2026 – 2029) with a clear and simple vision to shape the future of water level management, connecting land, water, and people who manage water, to deliver climate resilience, sustainable natural value, and better places.

The updated Business Plan puts our members and their representation as key business drivers and everything we do must relate back to the interests of our membership. The representation ask of ADA by members is simple – that ADA focusses on the promotion and representation of their interests at local, regional and national levels. ADA will therefore aim to appropriately engage with groups, bodies and government departments that are relevant to the business activities and interests of ADA’s members.

As well as the key drivers, the Business Plan covers staff, finance and runs through our strategic activities, considering opportunities and business risks. This plan simplifies the objectives to eight strategic ones with measurable timescales, responsibilities and outcomes, which will be reported on and reviewed by ADA’s Board over the period.
